Texas Operations Acadian Ambulance Service is privileged to provide exceptional and unsurpassed service to 24 counties in Texas. Launched in 2006, Acadian’s Texas operations began in Jefferson and Orange counties, and now include Harris and Montgomery counties in the Houston area; Dallas, Denton, Tarrant and Collin counties in North Texas; Bexar County in South-Central Texas; and Travis and Williamson counties in the Austin area. In 2010, Acadian acquired Stat Care EMS in Southeast Texas and was selected to provide service to the unincorporated areas of Bexar County and 10 cities within the county. In 2011, acquisitions included Central Texas EMS and NorthStar EMS. Acadian’s Texas operations were accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services in 2010; the company is one of only six in Texas to have earned the designation.
