Using the medics in Acadian’s nationally certified dispatch center, Acadian began providing personal medical alert systems and wholesale security alarm monitoring in 1991. The growth of these services eventually led to the creation of separate specialized security monitoring centers. Acadian operates a network of three highly sophisticated, bi-directionally redundant call centers with highly trained dispatchers.
Acadian’s security call centers are Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) 5-Diamond certified and UL Listed, setting a standard in the security monitoring industry.
In 2014, Acadian expanded to include retail equipment sales and installation, and the service of home and business fire and security systems, personal medical alert systems, advanced video security surveillance and monitoring, video hosting and analytics, access control systems, and GPS fleet tracking with Acadian Total Security.
