Acadian Total Security Leadership
Blane Comeaux, President
Blane Comeaux serves as the president of Acadian Monitoring Services and has been with Acadian for more than 28 years. He was named vice president of the division in 2005 and president in 2012.
In 1999, AMS launched a diversified line of monitoring services for homes and businesses, as well as medical alarms for seniors. The division’s monitoring centers in Baton Rouge and Lafayette, Louisiana, and Chicago are considered among the best in the country. Under Blane’s entrepreneurial leadership, AMS developed a variety of assets, including Acadian’s telehealth center for daily remote patient assessment and coaching, mobile GPS monitoring for productive fleet management, a nationwide virtual guard and video monitoring center, and the 2014 launch of Acadian Total Security. This retail division provides consumers with SmartHome security and energy management, and the business community with integrated security services.
Blane is a founding member of the Medical Alert Monitoring Association and a member of the Governmental Relations Committee for the Electronic Security Association.
Brandon Niles, Director of Operations
Brandon Niles serves as the director of Acadian Monitoring Services and has been with the company for more than five years. He is responsible for the management of all AMS departments, handling all legal matters and the strategic development of key partnerships inside and outside of the security industry. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Iowa and a Juris Doctorate from the University of St. Thomas. Brandon is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and is currently working on his license for the State of Louisiana.
Nicholas Bearb, Technical Department Manager
Nicholas Bearb, technical department manager for Acadian Monitoring Services, has been with Acadian for 13 years serving as a dispatcher, supervisor, and operations manager. As the technical department manager, he is in charge of managing the technical aspects of Acadian Monitoring Services’ three, bidirectional central stations located in Baton Rouge and Lafayette, Louisiana, and Chicago. He also develops and maintains the internal infrastructure of each of Acadian’s monitoring departments.
Angela LaGrange, Billing Department Manager
As billing department manager, Angela oversees accounts receivable operations for all departments and product lines within the division, including GPS fleet management, video monitoring, wholesale monitoring for three central stations, and retail security and medical alert services. Angela started at Acadian in 2007 when she was hired as an alarm dispatcher and later worked as a customer service and inside sales representative. In 2011, she was promoted to accounts receivable specialist and also served as the billing department supervisor. Angela stays involved in her community by volunteering as a United Way reader in Lafayette Parish schools.
Al Lanclos, Operations Manager
Al Lanclose, operations manager, oversees operations in both the Lafayette and Houma service areas, and manages the installation and service departments while looking for ways to grow them. He has a special focus on providing the best customer service and overall customer experience.
Al is a graduate of Port Barre High School and has 20 years of security operations experience.
Kimberly Savoie, Data Entry Supervisor
Data Entry Department Supervisor Kimberly Savoie began her career at Acadian in 2006 as an alarm dispatcher. Kimberly is responsible for overseeing all data entry for AMS and leading our team responsible for entering and verifying customer information for each of our three central monitoring stations.
Alarm Center Managers
Christie Brinkman, Baton Rouge
Christie Brinkman serves as alarm center manager at the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, central station. She has been with Acadian since December 2008, when Acadian acquired Command Central. She started at Command Central in October 1997 as an alarm dispatcher and data entry analyst and then was promoted to central station manager. Christie attended nursing school at Our Lady Of the Lake College.
Melissa Compton, Lafayette Melissa Compton is the the alarm center manager for the Lafayette, Louisiana, central station. An Acadian employee since March 2000, Melissa served as an alarm dispatcher, data entry analyst, and trainer for the Lafayette alarm center until she was promoted to manager in 2009. Melissa graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in general studies.
William Kane, Chicago
William Kane is the alarm center manager in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and oversees the day-to-day operations of the AMS Chicagoland region. He began his career with Acadian in 2009 after the acquisition of Infinity Monitoring Services. He has served in every role in the industry, including installation, alarm dispatch, data entry, central station supervisor, technical and IT. He currently oversees the Acadian AES network in Illinois, one of the largest AES networks in the state. William is a member of the Illinois Electronic Security Association and holds an Illinois Private Alarm Contractors License as well as CSAA and NFPA certifications.
