Acadian Monitoring Services, a division of Acadian, was selected as one of the top three Central Stations of the Year during the ninth annual Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) Excellence Awards Breakfast.

Acadian was selected from more than 2,000 central stations in the nation.

The awards, given during the Electronic Security Exposition in Nashville, Tenn., recognize outstanding FM Global, Intertek/ETL or Underwriter Laboratories (UL)-listed central stations and their personnel who perform in the highest professional manner and make a significant contribution to the betterment of the alarm industry.

Applicants were judged on how well the company has adopted CSAA criteria within their central station facility.

Blane Comeaux, president of Acadian Monitoring Services, said, “This recognition speaks volumes about our hundreds of exceptional employee-owners who strive to make our company the best it can be. I am honored to be part of a company that continues to expand and raise the bar in the safety and security industry.”

Awards were given for Central Station of the Year, Central Station Manager of the Year, Support Person of the Year and Central Station Operator of the Year.

Since 1971, Acadian has provided the highest level of emergency medical care and transportation possible. In the past decade, the company has expanded to include a diverse suite of services in health, safety, and transportation. Acadian’s six divisions are Acadian Ambulance Service, Acadian Monitoring Services, Air Med, Executive Aircraft Charter Service, National EMS Academy and Safety Management Systems.
